Catches of the Day for August 4, 2017

Mike, Reed, and Eric went out with Racky today and brought in 3 halibut, 6 silvers, 1 chum, and 5 pinks.

Phil, Max, and Tom went out with Packrat today and brought in a 10.0# yelloweye, 3 rockfish, a 7.3# chum, and 2 silvers, and 7 pinks.

Mark and Tiffany went out with Lucky today and brought in 2 halibut (34.5#, 22.3#), 12 pinks, and 3 rockfish. Awesome job, great way to end the trip!

Charmaine went out with Eclipse today and brought in an 11.6# halibut, 2 flounder, 1 silver, and 1 pink.

The fishing was on and the whales were out! A pod of 6 or 7 orcas swam by one of our boats, captained by Gator. Gabby was able to snap a few shots of the resident pod, which included several juveniles and a large adult. Many of our guests have seen orcas and humpbacks over the past week - looks like the whales are enjoying the summer weather as much as we are! Below are some of the photos that Gabby was able to get.
