Today was a great day for fishing. We caught all sorts of beautiful fish! It was an amazing day to be on the water here at Yes Bay!!!


Thomas and Phill had a great time with Captain Old Spice! They caught 4 Cod, 2 Flounder, a Rock Fish and 18 Pollok!!!


Not to be outdone, Eric, Ryan, Rob, and Captain Kid Rock caught 3 flounder and 2 Halibut! The biggest Halibut was a whopping 62 pounds!!!


John, Joe, and Craig reeled in some salmon with Captain Packrat!

We got to enjoy another day of beautiful weather in the upper 70's today! It was a quiet day on the water but definitely one that we enjoyed!


The Niesen family with Captain Pack Rat had a lovely last day on the water. They got to take home some beautiful fish!

It was a beautiful day at the lodge with temperatures reaching 77 degrees. That might not be much down in the lower 48 but here in Southeast Alaska, that might as well be temperatures in the 90's!


We love the Niesen Family! Captain Pack Rat does too!!!


Don and May Gross were pretty delighted with their days catch!


Captain Old Spice is looking pretty crabby! Gerald and Gladys seem to be in good spirits though.

Today we got to welcome quite a few guests! Welcome to the Niesen, Shigemura, Hoshijo, and Sen families! We enjoyed beautiful weather and wonderful fishing conditions!

Today was a bittersweet day as the Mahoney and Flores families enjoyed their last day on the water. We've enjoyed 18 seasons of their visits and they will be missed. Come back soon!

It was a great day here at Yes Bay! We got to enjoy relatively good weather and as always, the fishing was wonderful! There was some great halibut caught today!!!

Our SPEC materials group got to enjoy yet another day of sunny weather!!! They had a great last day and managed to catch over 190 pounds of fish during their entire visit! Not a bad haul at all!

NOTHING BUTT GOOD...

Our first group of the season and first official day of fishing was a blast. A total of six Halibut hit the dock yesterday with the biggest being 68.8 pounds and a nice variety of rockfish. With just a few scattered showers here and there the weather and the fishing made for a great day on the water. We are just getting started around here so stay tuned to all of the excitement as the summer continues here at Yes Bay Lodge!

2019 SEASON IS HERE AND IN FULL SWING!

We have officially begun the 2019 season here at Yes Bay Lodge and are excited to show everyone what we have been up to! We have had the official crew arrive and everyone is really excited to be here. We decided to call up Uncle Bill and Mark Titus to help out with the training of our new guides and it sure is paying off. We have been getting into some action with the Kings and had a nice 90 pound Halibut caught yesterday and also saw the first Pink Salmon of the year today. Needless to say, summertime fishing is here and we are all happy to see some nice catches hitting the dock. We celebrated Nicky and Dee's birthday here at the lodge with all of the family and it was really nice to have Grandma Marlys visit the lodge. As we finish gearing up for the first guest arrivals tomorrow be sure to stay tuned to our updates on the fishing and the activities happening here at Yes Bay...
